Hi Ian, hope you are well. I watched the first third of Avatar during my rest period going from London to Thailand. In Bangkok I read the first third of Time and Again. The middle of the film was taken in during the next sector to Sydney where I read the middle of your book and the sector back to Bangkok saw me finish both. I do not know if you have seen the movie but the similarities in the concept between it and your story were most interesting especially given the rather weird way I interwove the two.
Bankgkok was in a mess (due to riots) I was not allowed to leave the hotel and I was very greatful to have a decent book and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bit weird, reading a novel written by somebody I know but I was only occassionally bumped out of the plot by comments that reminded me of you. Nice to read a story about the military that uses the correct expressions for a change and I am looking forward to your next one.
